Would Frodo the Hobbit still go invisible if he wore the ring on his toes?

Now Frodo, he's a cheeky Hobbit, only ever wears ring ont finger. Would that little man still go invisible and still be a lure to the dark riders if the one ring were to slip around his little manky hairy toes? Ahmmmm
